This Privacy Policy explains how JollyZap ("we", "us", the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our games and services on the web and in the Android and iOS apps. By using JollyZap, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information - the username, email address, and password you provide when you sign up. Passwords are stored only in a securely hashed form; we never store your plain-text password.
- Gameplay data - your scores, coin balance, match history, and in-game progress.
- Social data - your friends list, friend requests, and messages you send in in-game chat.
- Technical data - a device/online identifier and IP address used to establish real-time multiplayer connections and to keep your session signed in. We do not use this for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To run the games, track scores and coins, and enable online/multiplayer matches and chat.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the service.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. Limited information is shared only as needed to run the service:
- Other players see your username/avatar and any chat messages you choose to send during multiplayer matches.
- Service providers - we use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. Their handling of data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its associated personal data yourself at any time: sign in, open Settings, and use Delete account. You can also ask us to do it by writing to the email below; we will remove it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Children's Privacy
JollyZap is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures (hashed passwords, encrypted HTTPS connections) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
